Restoral Health Ltd (RH)’s Statement of Purpose provides an introduction into our semi-independent services. The organisation is a private limited company registered with Companies House in England & Wales, registration number 10476988.

 

PURPOSE & CLIENT GROUP

RH was established to provide accommodation, transitional and life skills support for you people 16+ Restoration is really the centre of practice for us we believe everyone deserves a second chance after a bad start in life with the right support and guidance restoration is possible. Our clients include

  • Young people Leaving Care
  • Foster Care Placement Breakdown
  • Young people on home detention curfews (HDCs)
  • Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children
  • Young People Returning to the community after leaving secure training or Youth Offending

Leaving care or moving placements can have enormous expectations on the young person to suddenly understand how to manage a household, pay bills, find a job or deal with pressures of education and relationships without any support. The experience for children in care varies but often it is very traumatic when they are suddenly faced with change yet again.

 

RH leads with compassion and empathy because we understand first-hand the complexities of being a child in Care. We are passionate about ensuring young people transition safely to independent living by equipping them with the skills and resilience they require to manage living alone and dealing with challenging decisions. We do this by providing:

TARGET

RH prides itself in having on-board the operations team was a child in care who has clearly against all odds found her way to success and is paying it forward. Our team member has designed unique and impactful approaches to supporting emotional and financial independence. This experience allows us at RH to approach each child’s situation with empathy and no judgement but more importantly to put in place therapeutic interventions that support the child’s emotional well-being and allow them to build resilience through ‘Empathy and Resilience in-house programs.

AIMS

We aim to change their outlook on life by offering a new perspective and example that life after Care can be an opportunity to build the life you want and get the most out of the available support. We also aim to work very closely with friends of the service such a Former Fostering Care Managers Retired from the profession but available for support and interventions, local authorities, charities and schools to expand our network that supports these young people it is in our mission to impact and change their outlook on life alongside ensuring they have a place to call home.

 

WHO WE ARE?

 

  1. Managing Director

Mr Brighton Mutebuka is the founder and Managing Director of Restoral Health Ltd. Brighton is a qualified and registered Solicitor who has practised in the UK for many years.  His interest in setting up RH really came from his upbringing and values to always support those in need, in addition his work as a solicitor supporting and representing many clients some of whom live with mental health conditions, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, to mention but a few, made him want to give back to society in his own way. He has a track record in turning around the lives of many families in across the United Kingdom.

 

His role and profession involve management of complex cases which require working in multi-disciplinary environments, including (but not limited to) liaising with representatives of Local Authorities, Home Office, Clinical Psychologists , Mental Health Consultants, Counselling and Advocacy Charities and Law Enforcement Agents.

 

Brighton has extensive experience of both setting up and running successful businesses in the UK. He is the founding member and managing partner of Mutebuka & Co Immigration Lawyers, a legal firm based in Leeds with over 10 years of unequalled service in the sector.

 

Head of Business and Compliance

Mrs Edina Mutebuka, a qualified hands-on Health and Social Care Professional. Edina has over 20 years of post-qualification experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse working within the NHS and private healthcare in various capacities ranging from Senior Crisis Assessment Practitioner, Charge Nurse to Ward Manager.

 

Throughout her rewarding career, Edina has acquired extensive experience working with challenging behaviours arising from complex, traumatic experiences and varied socio-environmental situations such as drugs and alcohol, gender, identity, sexuality, domestic violence and supporting ex-offenders to integrate back into the community. In addition to this, she has got solid safeguarding experience acquired whilst working with vulnerable service users.

 

Key to her role in Restoral Health Ltd, Edina will be responsible for ensuring delivery uncompromised and comprehensive quality of service to our young people through development and enforcement of both robust management systems. As a mother is goes without saying that she wants nothing more than to see any child have a fair chance in life.

 

  1. Operations Manager

The day to day running of Restoral Health Ltd will be the charge of a well capable Miss Nompumelo Mahlangu (Nompu). She has over 10 years’ experience of working in the health and social care sector in Project Management and Policy Development. Nompu has worked with both young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. She has also been involved in setting up supported living provisions for children, young people and adults both regulated and unregulated.

Nompu entered the foster care system at 16 years old and brings a very unique perspective to supporting young people build their lives after care. She is undeniably passionate about personal development and finding ways to keep them engaged with the services and ensuring they feel valued is her ethos. As a Care Leaver she points out the importance of empathy at all times.

 

 

 

In addition Nompu has also supported her mother for over 10years fostering over 25 children in the last 12 years in the Leeds Area. Her mother who is a friend of the service was awarded an MBE for services to children by Her Majesty The Queen and is equally passionate in supporting this endeavor by way of training or advice if required for all our staff and board.

 

Nompu has extensive experience of working in the NHS, where she has been involved in supporting and managing change and procurement projects. Her experience as a child in care is what makes her experience with Restoral Health. Having experience ins areas such as attachment theories and taking a personal interesting in using therapeutic interventions to help a young person deal with challenging emotions.
